Gizmo: One more advantage — slow connection performance

25 Jun 2007This morning, I noticed that Gizmo has one more advantage over Skype: substantially better performance over slower/less optimal WiFi connections.
Skype is slowly getting the can from me. Sorry kids.

Joost Sucks…CPU and Bandwidth
5 Apr 2007Got my invite to Joost today. Downloaded the app and tried to use it.
Channel selection is lame.
Response is slow.
And even on my reasonably powerful laptop, the memory, CPU and network usage went through the roof.
Yup. Uninstall.

Trillian: Mystery Product
